I had massive heartburn yesterday which led to a sore throat last night, that carried on into today and I just got rid of the heartburn I've had for the last 3 hours. NOW I have a headache and a sore throat!
And I'm supposed to go to the gym like this? I can hope that maybe just maybe I'm pg but I'm not betting big money on that one thanks to my little tiny red spot this morning. But if my temp stays up tomorrow I might have hope again!
It's just been a very long day and I still have an hour left of work! Can it just be tomorrow already?

Diaper Cake Instructions
Someone asked for these and I figured I'd put them in my blog for easy access!
Diaper Cake Instructions
Supplies needed:
Diapers 80-90 for a 3 layer cake
Rubber bands (mini hair ones)
18" Cardboard Cake Plate
Large container of Baby Powder
Small 4oz bottle (can buy a 3pack and use the other two to decorate)
Assorted ribbons, laces and décor
Hot Glue Gun (low heat gun preferably)
Popsicle sticks (possibly required)
Cake topper (stuffed animal)
Making the cake:
Start with 18" board, glue lace to edge of board as a border
Mark the center and glue container of baby power to center of board
Glue one 4oz bottle to the top of baby powder container (together these will give you a center to build around.
Without unfolding the diaper, roll up and secure with a rubber band (repeat 80-90 times as necessary)
Layer diapers around baby powder being sure to tuck edges in and secure with a thin ribbon (tying a not will work fine, ribbon will be covered.
Work your way out and then up, 3 layers out on bottom, 2 layers out in the middle, 1 layer on the top.
Take a decorative ribbon and wrap each layer, secure at the same point on each layer (hot glue is best just make sure not to get the diapers)
Decorate cake as desired, most things will poke right into the diapers, for those required, glue a Popsicle stick to the back in order to poke into the diaper cake.
The sky is the limit on these cakes, things can be added based on your creativity. If you have any specific questions feel free to email me at bcbscorp13 at aol dot com! I’ll be sure to make step by step instruction on my next cake.

Pics are in...The Day After
These are some of my favorites! For some reason I can't figure out how to post a slideshow in a blog (if you know, please feel free to leave me a comment) but you can find the rest in my photobucket account at: http://tinyurl.com/ObrienDayAfter if it asks for a password it's "SB72608" Enjoy! For some reason the slideshow puts duplicates in, I didn't set it up that way but apparently it's gonna be a PITA, sorry!

Corrine and all things baby!
So now that it's all said and done I thought I'd share the highlights of Corrine's Baby Shower on Januaury 10th and of course the baby. Tyler Maria was born January 15, 2009 at 5:18am 5lbs 11oz and 19.69 inches long.

Momma's first look!
Miss Tyler Maria T
I am so proud of Corrine, she has blessed this world with a beautiful baby girl. I can only hope for her easy labor and two pushes! Until I have a baby I'll spend my time spoiling hers. After all I was asked to be god mommy!

Already broke one
So first day back to work and I was 10 minutes late BUT it's not completely my fault. I was up on time but not with time enough to put the roast in the crock pot and cut all the veggies and stuff. PLUS being off for 5 days my sleeping schedule was off and I didn't fall asleep until after 1:30am. Today is gonna suck, but at least dinner will be ready when I get home and all at the low low cost of being 10 minutes late. Good thing no one notices!
Here's to tomorrow!
Here's to tomorrow!

My Resolutions...
They say that you never keep them but I figure if I make a whole bunch my odds are better than most that one or two will stick around. So here they are:
Start getting to work on time everyday, no more 7:10, 7:15 arrival times. I need to be there promptly at 7:00am. Steve says he'll be shocked if I get one day in...way to be supportive honey.
Get in the gym and STAY there, my goal is to lose 10lbs a month. Granted if we get pregnant this may change but since Im not thin trying to be thinner, as long as I eat enough I would think the doctors would be okay with me working out still.
Take my lunch to work everyday. No more going out to lunch trying to fake Im eating healthy (and ending up at La Pinata, mmmm).
Cook a new recipe at least once a week. I think I'll try a new slamon this week, I saw a red wine poached salmon in the William Sanoma cook book at Costco today, mmm sounds yummy.
Wash my face and brush my teeth everynight before bed. Im really good at doing this stuff in the morning but Im way to lazy at night! Gotta get on the ball.
Take my Vitamins everyday! I'm horrible about this because I can't stand the taste of my multi. I think I'll go take them after this, who cares if its 10:45.
Of course there is also my to do list for the year...make a budget for Steve and I, clean out the spare room, get in a weekly cleaning routine...oh and make a baby!
So there's my lists, I'll let you know how they go! If nothing else...HAPPY NEW YEAR!
