After the festival we headed down to Monterey, CA and to our hotel to take a nice cool shower, instead we ended up in the best part of our very cute hotel room at the Sunset Inn, the jacuzzi tub for 2...
After a nice dinner (with fireworks) and a good nights sleep the next morning we headed off to breakfast, where we got a $30 parking ticket, woohoo, and then strolled out to Lover's Point...

And then off to the Monterey Bay Aquarium where we walked around for hours checking out all the cool sea life...

After a quick dinner at Fisherman's Wharf we headed home up the coast on Highway 1. This was the view (although not blurry IRL) that we left in our wake...
It was and awesome weekend and I loved it being just Steve and I. Here's to many more years of love and life with my hubby!

Holy garlic overload! Sounds good...not sure about the ice cream though....
It looks like you had a great time. We went on sunday with my MIL, I wish I had the patience to stand in ling and try the garlic ice cream.
